This position works closely with the Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, maintain food quality and consistency, support kitchen staff development, and ensure a clean and organized culinary environment. This is a great opportunity for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative team culture. Essential Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations across all food outlets and events Prepare and execute high-quality food in a timely and consistent manner Supervise and support line cooks and kitchen staff during service Help train, mentor, and develop culinary team members Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and cost controls Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen Support banquet, club event, and à la carte operations as needed Assist with menu execution, specials, and seasonal offerings Help create a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture Qualifications Previous culinary leadership experience preferred, ideally in a club, resort, hotel, or high-volume restaurant environment Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and leadership skills Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred but not required ServSafe certification preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
