Locally owned Oakview Public House located in Holly Springs, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. Oakview is a Chef driven restaurant that understands the impact the kitchen has on the success of the restaurant. Oakview Public House is looking for that right Chef who wants to make that happen and grow with us. Duties Lead and manage the entire kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective supervision and team management. Oversee food production processes, ensuring high standards of quality Manage inventory control and food safety protocols to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure compliance with health regulations. Coordinate catering events and special functions with meticulous attention to detail in food handling and service delivery. Supervise shift operations, including scheduling, training staff on food preparation, service standards, and safety procedures. Requirements Proven experience with strong background in food production, catering, and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in high-volume settings. Extensive knowledge of kitchen management, inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures. Expertise in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and culinary innovation across various cuisines. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, manage shifts efficiently, and foster teamwork. Experience with catering events & private events is highly desirable.
