Job Description

Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our catering department in delivering exceptional food. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating innovative dishes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee kitchen operations, manage food quality, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and service in a dynamic hospitality environment. Previous experience in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management is highly desirable. Duties Develop and plan diverse menus that align with catering concepts and customer preferences Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Coordinate catering menus and special functions, ensuring seamless execution Monitor shift management to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction Oversee dietary department needs, including special dietary requests and nutritional considerations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times Experience Proven banquet experience with a strong background in large-scale food production and catering services Supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment with team management responsibilities Extensive culinary experience with a focus on fine dining, food service management, and menu planning Knowledge of inventory management, food safety standards, and kitchen operations Experience in restaurant or hospitality management roles is preferred Skills in food handling, food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management are essential Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills Familiarity with the food industry trends, dietary requirements, and catering logistics This position is ideal for a dedicated culinary professional eager to lead a talented team while delivering exceptional catering experiences.
