Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision, artistry, and adherence to safety standards Develop innovative sushi recipes and contribute to menu creation, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation excellence Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station in compliance with health regulations Manage ingredient inventory, monitor freshness, and order supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations Educate team members on sushi techniques, presentation skills, and safety procedures Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate service flow during busy hours Uphold the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction at all times Skills Extensive culinary experience with a focus on Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various sushi techniques such as rolling, slicing, and plating Ability to develop new recipes and adapt traditional methods creatively Experience in classroom management or training others in culinary skills is a plus Passion for teaching or mentoring aspiring chefs or team members Attention to detail in presentation, flavor balance, and ingredient quality Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation including knives, rice cookers, refrigeration units, etc. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with culinary trends like photography of dishes or innovative plating styles is advantageous Embark on an exciting culinary adventure with us!
