Join our team as a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef, where you will play a crucial role in our culinary operations. As a Sous Chef, you will ensure the highest quality of food preparation. This position demands high quality, precision, creativity, and the ability to thrive as a team player in a fast-paced environment. A background check is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food production
  • Manage inventory levels and ordering to maintain optimal stock
  • Lead food preparation activities, including but not limited to chopping, cooking, and plating dishes
  • Coordinate shift management to guarantee efficient workflow and timely service
  • Uphold food safety standards and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Collaborate with the culinary team for menu development and recipe enhancements
  • Oversee the dietary department to meet dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the food industry or culinary field
  • Proficient in supervising kitchen operations and managing staff effectively
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures
  • Expertise in various aspects of food preparation, including cooking techniques and presentation
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the industry
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent multitasking abilities
