Full Job Description Overview:
This is a great opportunity for an eager and passionate cook! If you want to continue to learn in a fun and locally influenced kitchen, this is the environment you want to be in. We are seeking a skilled Tournant Chef
  • Line cook to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and the processes to create memorable dining experiences. Accountability, Timeliness, Cleanliness, and Team mentality are a must! This position will assist the team in all kitchen operations and preparations and maintain their individual station daily.
Duties:
  • Prep items for all OR individual station daily while maintaining a high standard of quality and technique on ingredients.
  • Follow recipes and knowledge of all food measurements
  • Show up on time, ready to work, good attitude, and teamwork dreamwork mentality
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist in developing new recipes and techniques, we are an open kitchen-everyone has something to bring to the table and we can all learn from one another.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Reliable and Driven to uphold standards
  • Knowledge of methods of food preparation-pickling, fermenting, great knife skills, food handling, identifying local & seasonal foods is a must
  • Easily motivated, able to take constructive criticism, ready to learn
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Pay is determined upon experience.
