Old Mill Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Chef/Dietary Aide to join our dietary team full-time. In this role, you'll help provide residents with high-quality meals that support healing, wellness, and an exceptional dining experience. What You'll Do Prepare and cook nutritious, flavorful meals following physician-ordered dietary guidelines and resident preferences Ensure meals are prepared with consistency, quality, and presentation in mind Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment Assist with meal service and help create a positive dining experience for residents Cross-train and work alongside dietary aides with food prep, serving, dishwashing, and kitchen cleanup as needed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and excellent resident satisfaction Participate in ongoing education related to food safety, nutrition, and healthcare dining standards What We're Looking For Previous Chef/Dietary Aid experience required Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare dining strongly preferred Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety, and sanitation practices Food Handler Permit and/or ServSafe Certification required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills Positive attitude and a genuine passion for serving others through food Schedule Full-Time 10-11 hour shifts Alternating weekends required Compensation Starting at $16/hour, based on experience Why Join Old Mill Rehabilitation?
