In this vital role, you will assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen activities, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a vibrant, efficient work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while supervising a talented team in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting. Duties Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on collaboration and excellence. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to ensure cost-effective operations. Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas. Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and menu modifications. Lead catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely preparation and high-quality presentation. Develop and implement menu planning strategies that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining consistency and quality. Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong background in food production and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in high-volume settings. Extensive banquet experience with a focus on catering and large event execution. Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory management, and food handling procedures. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively. Familiarity with dietary requirements, menu planning, and restaurant experience is highly desirable.
