As a key leader in the kitchen, you will support the Head Chef in managing daily operations, supervising food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, leadership skills, and passion for fine dining in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. Duties Assist in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift management and efficient workflow. Supervise food production processes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards across all menu items. Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Support menu planning and development, incorporating dietary considerations and catering requirements. Coordinate with the catering and banquet teams to deliver seamless service for large events and special occasions. Experience Proven supervisory experience in a professional kitchen setting, ideally within fine dining or hospitality environments. Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with banquet service, catering operations, and dietary department standards. Demonstrated ability to manage inventory effectively and control food costs. Experience with food safety protocols, HACCP standards, and maintaining high hygiene standards. Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management and communication skills. Previous restaurant management or food service management experience is highly desirable.
