As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu creation to food preparation, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, manage inventory efficiently, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. Duties Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining consistency and quality Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing team Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste and optimize food costs Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain rigorous hygiene standards Coordinate with catering and banquet departments to deliver seamless event experiences Manage shift schedules, monitor kitchen performance, and implement process improvements for efficiency Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and food production Proven supervising experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality setting Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team Expertise in menu planning, food handling, and kitchen management techniques Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, and dietary department procedures Excellent communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house staff and vendors Familiarity with catering operations, banquet experience, and food service management principles Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and quality
