In this role, you will oversee the entire pastry department, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Your expertise will inspire your team to craft exceptional baked goods and desserts that delight our guests and elevate our culinary offerings. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional eager to showcase their pastry mastery in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of innovative pastry menus, including cakes, tarts, confections, and other baked goods. Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and timely delivery of all pastry items. Oversee food safety and SQF best practices. Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations. Uphold strict food safety standards and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations and SQF certifications Requirements Extensive pastry experience with a strong background in high scale bakery manufacturing baking and food preparation. SQF Proven culinary experience in a high-volume manufacturing bakery Skilled in food handling, knife skills, and precise food production techniques. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within the food industry. Experience in high volume bakery manufacturing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
