Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Chef specializing in prep and fry station duties to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food to perfection, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Prepare ingredients efficiently for various stations, including chopping, marinating, and portioning to ensure smooth kitchen operations Cook and fry menu items with precision, maintaining consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation Follow established recipes and food safety protocols to ensure high-quality dishes are served every time Assist with plating and garnishing dishes to enhance visual appeal before serving Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks swiftly and accurately Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety standards to promote a safe working environment Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within the food industry or restaurant settings Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques, especially frying and grilling Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is a plus Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous for understanding special dietary needs Join us if you're passionate about culinary arts, thrive in energetic environments, and want to grow your skills in a role that values your dedication!
