Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef de Partie to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen operations within your designated station, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, lead kitchen activities, and collaborate with a talented team dedicated to excellence. Duties Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality. Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as sauces, meats, or pastries, maintaining efficiency and cleanliness throughout your station. Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment. Manage inventory levels within your station, including ordering supplies, controlling waste, and minimizing food costs through effective inventory control. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment. Collaborate with the head chef and other team members on menu planning, daily specials, and catering orders to meet guest expectations. Assist in supervising banquet preparations and catering events to ensure timely service and presentation standards are met. Participate in shift management duties such as opening/closing procedures, quality checks, and maintaining cleanliness standards across the kitchen. Experience Proven experience working in a professional kitchen with a focus on fine dining or upscale restaurants. Demonstrated banquet experience with involvement in large-scale food production and catering events. Supervising or team management experience within a culinary setting is highly preferred. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices. Knowledge of dietary requirements and food handling safety regulations is essential. Experience with inventory management systems and food service operations will be advantageous. A background in hospitality or restaurant management is beneficial for understanding overall food service flow.
