PRIVATE CHEF / MEAL PREP CHEF

Starting at $650+ per day, depending on experience, qualifications, and scope of services
Schedule:
Approximately 2 days per week A private client in Summit, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Private Chef or Meal Prep Chef to provide culinary support for one individual. The selected candidate will work approximately two days per week, preparing sufficient breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks to cover a full seven-day period. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of menu planning, grocery procurement, meal preparation, portioning, labeling, and ensuring meals are properly stored for freshness and convenience throughout the week.
Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare customized breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks Create menus based on the client's preferences and dietary requirements Procure groceries and necessary ingredients Prepare meals for refrigeration, freezing, and reheating Label and organize meals for ease of use Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Manage food inventory and kitchen supplies Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and lifestyle preferences Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and food safety standards
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Private Chef, Personal Chef, Meal Prep Chef, Executive Chef, or similar culinary professional Previous experience working in a private home is REQUIRED and must be clearly reflected on your resume Strong understanding of nutrition, meal planning, and food safety Ability to work independently and efficiently Excellent organizational and time-management skills Professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor Reliable transportation
