This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in artisanal pizza making and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment. The Pizza Chef will be responsible for crafting exceptional, high-quality pizzas with consistency, precision, and creativity while maintaining the highest culinary and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience with sourdough fermentation, thin-crust pizza preparation, and cooking in a wood-burning oven. A deep understanding of dough development, live-fire cooking techniques, and ingredient quality is essential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, innovation, and delivering memorable dining experiences through every dish. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas with consistency, precision, and attention to presentation Stretch, shape, top, and bake pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards Work with naturally leavened sourdough and maintain proper fermentation schedules Operate and manage a wood-burning oven, including fire maintenance and temperature control Execute thin-crust pizza preparation with attention to texture, structure, and balance Ensure all food preparation and kitchen operations meet strict food safety and sanitation standards Assist with prep work, ingredient management, and station organization Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during high-volume periods Monitor product quality, freshness, and consistency at all times Assist with menu development by contributing seasonal specials and creative pizza concepts Properly store, rotate, and manage inventory and ingredients Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a Pizza Chef in a restaurant, upscale casual, or fine dining environment Strong knowledge of sourdough fermentation and artisanal dough preparation techniques Experience preparing and executing thin-crust pizzas Hands-on experience working with wood-burning ovens and live-fire cooking Excellent food preparation and knife skills Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and culinary excellence Creative mindset with an interest in evolving food trends and menu innovation Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented What We Offer Competitive pay Opportunity to work in a creative and collaborative kitchen environment Growth opportunities within a passionate culinary team A culture focused on quality, innovation, and hospitality excellence Join us and bring your passion for artisanal pizza making to a team dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences—one slice at a time.
