Must have prior experience in high volume restaurant. Anthem Country Club is a private equity, full service country club founded in 1999 and is located in Henderson, Nevada, just 20 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. It features a Hale Irwin/Keith Foster designed par 72, 7,373 yard championship golf course. The beautiful Clubhouse has breathtaking views of the Las Vegas strip. The club is located in a guard gated community with 1,600 homes. There are 1,000 total memberships at the club with a large range of demographics from young families to empty nesters. The Club features multiple dining outlets; with two full service restaurants
Job Overview:
The Pantry Chef will prepare cold sauces, salads, and run the line in the evening along with prepping what needs to be done for the day. Prepares a la carte items, buffets and banquet items.
Specific Responsibilities:
Maintains good, personal appearance and observes personal cleanliness and uniform policy standards as set forth by Anthem Country Club at all times. Prepares and cook hot and cold a la carte menu Assures that a la carte menu is properly prepared Keeps kitchen and all cooking equipment clean during a shift as it is used / makes sure that it is clean prior to shift changes. Cleans and sanitizes all work stations Must have knowledge of SNHD sanitation policies; knowledge of the various health codes and regulations Assures proper sanitation of the department Assists with the preparation for banquets, weddings and parties Assures member / guest satisfaction Assists in food preparation and plate up as necessary Full Time up to 40 hours per week Must have 2 years prior experience making fruit platters, deli platters, charcuterie, cheese boards and simple desserts at a high level Full Time. Hourly wage depending on experience. The normal shift is 130pm-10pm Must have reliable transportation The applicant will be asked to Stage so they can show us their skill set
Salary:
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
