Leave a legacy. Gambi's is in search of a passionate and talented Chef/Line Cook to helm our kitchen and help shape the culinary experience we're known for. This role requires leadership, creativity, and consistency—from crafting signature dishes to inspiring your team during the dinner rush. Duties Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences. Oversee daily kitchen operations from prep to plate, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Develop and execute elevated Italian-inspired menu items. Ensure dishes are executed with precision, flavor, and flawless presentation. Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper food handling practices to ensure freshness and safety. Lead, train, and support kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Uphold sanitation and safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Collaborate with management on inventory, specials, and menu updates Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain quality standards. Address any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service promptly. Requirements Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in an upscale or high-volume kitchen or a similar culinary role within the food service industry. Passion for Italian cuisine and creative plating. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and food handling practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse kitchen staff. Passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required. A drive to maintain excellence every shift.
