Arrowhead Golf Club —along with our premier, high-volume wedding and event venues, The Sterling and The Timberlodge —is seeking an experienced Sous Chef / Chef de Cuisine to join the Executive Chef in leadership of our kitchen operations. From upscale golf club dining to breathtaking, rustic-chic weddings and grand banquets, our property is a hub of premier hospitality in Western New York. If you are a natural leader who can manage multiple moving parts and start executing right away, we want to hear from you today. What You Will Do Assist in
Leading Operations:
Direct daily kitchen operations, oversee prep schedules, and manage line execution across our diverse dining and banquet facilities.
Maintain Quality:
Expedite service smoothly, ensuring every dish—whether an à la carte entrée or a 200-guest wedding banquet—meets our highest standards. Assist in Managing the
Culinary Team:
Supervise, train, and motivate the culinary team during high-volume shifts and major event days. Assist in
Controlling Inventory:
Track stock levels, minimize waste, and place daily vendor orders to support both daily club operations and large-scale catering events.
Enforce Safety:
Ensure strict compliance with local Erie County health codes and sanitation laws.
What We Look For Proven Experience:
3+ years of culinary leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen (experience with banquet execution or country club operations is a major plus).
Technical Mastery:
Exceptional line cooking skills, strong foundational knowledge of diverse cuisines, and deep knowledge of food safety.
Strong Leadership:
Ability to command a fast-paced kitchen with respect, clarity, and composure under pressure.
Valid Credentials:
Active ServSafe Manager certification is required - or, must be achieved within one month of employment.
