Job Description

About Us:
We are opening a brand new, hospitality-driven restaurant focused on premium steaks, elevated burgers, market driven salads and a polished dining experience. Our concept blends high-quality ingredients, precise execution, and exceptional guest service in a refined yet approachable environment. We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary program from launch and set the standard for excellence.
Position Summary:
The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, menu development, team leadership, and food quality. This role requires strong steakhouse experience, operational discipline, and the ability to build and mentor a high-performing culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all back-of-house operations Develop and execute a premium steak and burger-focused menu with seasonal market driven changes Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and protein temperatures Manage food cost, labor cost, and inventory control Hire, train, and mentor kitchen staff Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership
Qualifications:
5+ years as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume or upscale restaurant Extensive experience expediting at a high volume restaurant A good understanding of the seasonal produce available in the area and how to implement that into the menu quarterly Proven leadership and development skills with a large BOH team (over 15 employees) Experience managing food cost and labor Hospitality-focused mindset Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with ownership about the direction of the restaurant

Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
