Executive Pastry Chef / Head of Cake Production Luxury High-End Pâtisserie | Not for Beginners but for Sous Chef that ready for next challenge. Overview A luxury, high-end cake and pâtisserie brand with a strong national reputation and rapidly growing e-commerce presence is seeking an Executive Pastry Chef / Head of Cake Production to lead our pastry operations. We welcome Strong sous chef to apply as well. We specialize in refined mousse cakes, petite gâteaux, and modern pâtisserie , blending East-West flavor profiles with precision and elegance. After five years of consistent growth, we are looking for a seasoned pastry leader who takes deep pride in craftsmanship, understands scale without compromising quality, and is seeking a long-term partnership. This is a selective senior role intended for professionals with proven experience in luxury pastry environments . Non-Negotiable Requirements Minimum 5 years executive-level experience in high-end pastry or cake production Not suitable for beginners or junior chefs Mastery of spray techniques (velvet/suede finishes) Mastery of glaze techniques (mirror, neutral, fruit-based, chocolate) Strong chocolate work skills (tempering, decoration, finishing) Extensive experience with mousse cakes, entremets, and petite gâteaux Proven ability to implement standards, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain consistency at scale Comfortable conducting food tastings as part of the interview process Who You Are Detail-obsessed, refined, and proud of your work Creative but disciplined—you understand luxury is about restraint and consistency Calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and hands-on Clear communicator and strong team leader Comfortable leading a primarily Spanish-speaking team (Spanish strongly preferred) Looking for a long-term leadership role , not a stepping stone Key Responsibilities Lead daily luxury cake and pastry production to exacting standards Maintain and elevate recipes, SOPs, and presentation benchmarks Diagnose and resolve issues related to texture, structure, glaze, spray, and chocolate work Drive R&D and innovation while preserving brand identity Train, mentor, and hold the team to high professional standards Collaborate closely with ownership on quality, growth, and scalability Ensure immaculate food safety, cleanliness, and organization Schedule & Benefits Morning-focused schedule Performance-based bonus program Paid vacation Paid sick leave Established team and systems already in place Opportunity to grow with a prestige-driven, expanding brand What We Value We value craftsmanship, pride, and consistency .
