Job Description

Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and team leadership within a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary expertise, oversee food operations, and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Candidates with banquet, fine dining, catering, or restaurant management experience are highly encouraged to apply. The Chef will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and presentation while managing daily kitchen activities. Responsibilities Ensure efficient food production and service. Oversee menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to meet quality standards. Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Coordinate with dietary departments to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions. Supervise catering events, banquets, and special functions, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Oversee kitchen operations during shifts, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation. Train and mentor junior staff in culinary techniques, safety procedures, and customer service. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment conducive to high-quality food production. Collaborate with restaurant management on menu development and service enhancements. Skills Proven experience in food production within a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or banquet experience preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment. Expertise in menu planning, culinary techniques, and food presentation. Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and food safety regulations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food handling and kitchen operations. Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality standards. Experience in supervising catering events or large-scale food service operations is advantageous. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including dietary accommodations, food service management, and shift coordination.
