Food Service Chef Instructor Professional Culinary Academy - 4.0 Buffalo, NY Job Details Part-time | Full-time Up to $28.81 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Culinary Arts Full Job Description Chef Instructor - Culinary Arts Program Academy is seeking qualified Chef Instructors for our growing culinary training program. We are currently hiring two instructors to help educate and mentor the next generation of culinary professionals in a hands-on college-style culinary environment. Position Overview Chef Instructors will provide classroom and kitchen instruction in professional culinary techniques, sanitation, kitchen operations, food preparation, and industry professionalism. Candidates must be passionate about culinary education and capable of leading students in both practical and theoretical learning environments. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet ONE of the following requirements : Possess a Culinary Degree from an accredited culinary institution OR Have held an Executive Chef position in a professional restaurant, hotel, club, or culinary operation Important Licensing Requirement This position requires obtaining a New York State BPSS Teaching License. Candidates qualifying through Executive Chef experience must provide supporting documentation from the restaurant or employer confirming Executive Chef status , as this documentation is required for state licensing approval.
