Responsibilities Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in managing food production processes, including portion control and inventory management to minimize waste. Support the supervision of kitchen staff during shifts, fostering teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards across all food handling and preparation activities. Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction. Contribute to kitchen management tasks such as stock rotation, inventory control, and ordering supplies as needed. Assist with catering events and banquet setups, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes for large groups or special occasions. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or catering backgrounds. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising kitchen staff or managing shifts effectively. Excellent culinary skills including cooking techniques, plating presentation, and menu execution. Familiarity with inventory management practices and food production processes. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
