In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional menus, overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment, whether it's fine dining, catering, or banquet events. Responsibilities Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards and guest preferences, incorporating dietary considerations and catering needs. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence. Lead and motivate culinary staff through effective team management, shift supervision, and ongoing training in food safety and culinary techniques. Oversee inventory control and management of food supplies, ensuring proper stock levels while minimizing waste. Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including food handling procedures and sanitation standards. Coordinate with event planners or restaurant managers to execute banquet functions, catering orders, and special events seamlessly. Monitor food quality during service times, troubleshoot issues promptly, and implement improvements as needed to enhance guest satisfaction. Experience Proven culinary experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment with a focus on fine dining or high-volume food production. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience managing kitchen staff and overseeing daily operations. Extensive banquet experience with knowledge of catering logistics and large-scale event planning. Strong background in food safety practices, inventory management, and kitchen management systems. Familiarity with menu planning, dietary accommodations, and food industry standards across diverse culinary settings. Experience in managing shifts efficiently while maintaining high standards of service and quality assurance.
