Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Head of Production / Corporate Chef A growing hospitality group specializing in Asian cuisine and multi-concept restaurant operations is seeking a Head of Production / Corporate Chef to lead a newly developed centralized food production facility. The organization operates several well-established restaurant brands across the New York metropolitan area and is continuing to expand through both restaurant growth and wholesale food production. To support this growth, the company recently launched a 15,000 square foot centralized production kitchen in Ridgefield, New Jersey that will supply multiple restaurant locations while also supporting wholesale food production and distribution. This is a unique opportunity for a culinary leader with strong production and operational experience to build systems that support a rapidly growing hospitality organization. Responsibilities
- Oversee a 15,000 sq. ft. centralized production kitchen
- Manage production chefs, prep teams, packaging staff, and logistics personnel
- Develop systems for batch production and operational scalability
- Ensure food consistency and quality across multiple restaurant brands
- Manage food cost, labor cost, and production efficiency
- Coordinate procurement, supply chain, and inventory management
- Oversee production of items including dumplings, sauces, broths, marinades, proteins, and other prepared foods
- Implement operational systems that support restaurant growth and wholesale production Qualifications
- Experience overseeing centralized production kitchens or commissary operations
- Background in high-volume food production environments
- Experience managing large culinary teams and production workflows
- Strong understanding of food cost control and operational efficiency
- Experience implementing recipe standardization and batch production systems Preferred Experience
- Asian or Chinese cuisine production experience
- Experience in food manufacturing or wholesale food production
- Experience supporting multi-unit restaurant operations
Compensation Salary:
$130,000 - $170,000 Benefits include:- Performance bonus
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
