Position Overview As a Sushi Chef (with Head Chef growth potential), you will be responsible for executing high-quality sushi offerings, supporting kitchen operations, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This role requires both technical skill and leadership presence. Key Responsibilities Sushi Preparation & Culinary Excellence Prepare sushi, sashimi, and Japanese dishes with precision and consistency Maintain top-tier standards in taste, presentation, and freshness Utilize advanced knife skills for fish and ingredient preparation Kitchen Operations & Leadership Support and guide kitchen team members in daily operations Monitor inventory and minimize waste Ensure all tools, knives, and equipment are maintained properly Quality Control & Food Safety Uphold strict hygiene and food safety standards Inspect all ingredients for freshness and quality Maintain consistency across all dishes served Guest Experience Accommodate guest preferences while maintaining authenticity Engage with guests at the sushi bar when needed Respond to feedback and continuously improve offerings Qualifications Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience At least 1 year of Japanese cuisine experience (REQUIRED) Strong sushi and knife skills Leadership mindset with ability to train and guide others Deep understanding of food safety and kitchen standards High attention to detail and consistency Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment Apply on Indeed today — or come in person with your resume for immediate consideration.Benefits:
