ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans menus / specials for all food served in the restaurant, bar and private dining. Schedules and co-ordinates the work of chefs and kitchen porters to assure that food preparation is within budgeted labour cost goals. Ensures that high standards of Cleaning, Health and Safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times. Establishes controls to reduce food and waste. Safeguards all employees by implementing training to increase their knowledge and awareness about safety, cleaning and accident prevention principles. Evaluates food products to assure that quality standards are consistently attained.
