Job Description

Executive Chef
  • Indian Cuisine (Akron, USA) We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine to join our team in Akron, USA.
As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Indian kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and staff training.
Salary:
$1100 per month
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a menu featuring authentic Indian dishes that meet our customers' expectations and dietary requirements
  • Plan and execute daily food preparation according to established recipes and standards
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence
  • Control food costs by accurately tracking inventory levels and minimizing waste
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
  • Collaborate with the restaurant manager to create promotions or special menus to attract customers
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian ingredients, spices, cooking methods, and flavors
  • Ability to create innovative dishes while staying true to traditional recipes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
