Pastry Chef
International Cuisine We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a fine dining restaurant in Akron, USA.
Our ideal candidate should have a passion for creating delicious pastries and desserts, as well as experience working with international cuisine. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for managing the pastry kitchen, developing new menu items, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Develop and create new pastry and dessert recipes that align with the restaurant's concept
Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients for the pastry kitchen
Train and supervise other pastry chefs and kitchen staff
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
Ensure all food is prepared according to food safety standards
Create visually appealing dessert displays
Collaborate with the executive chef to develop seasonal menus
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of different types of international pastries and desserts
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent leadership skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations
Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique dessert offerings
Salary:
$1200 per month
