LINE COOK / CATERING CHEF

team member in a food and beverage focused on trend private country club kitchen. Position includes line cooking and/or catering event preparation and execution. Oppertunity to learn or improve knowledge of modernist cookery and work with the newest technology in Rational ovens, Irinox blast chillers, Sous Vide, PacoJet, etc. Endless canvas of cuisines and creativity. We need your unique contribution to our team! Potential for BONUSES in addition to hourly salary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain high standards for food quality and consistency in a private club setting. Knowledge of menu and execution for lunch and dinner in ala carte restaurant. Preparation of mise and place. Fabrication, portioning and proper handling of food product. Participate in creating, preparing and executing daily menu item features. Responsible for quality and freshness of all product on work station. Upkeep of ala carte kitchen and walk in coolers. Adhere to safety and sanitation standards as dictated by the local health department.

Extremely committed to the team and clubs mission statement. Passionate and able to self motivate. Strong organizational skills. Excellent knife skills. Ability to cook proteins to proper and requested temperatures. Knowledge of cooking Grill, Sauté, Fryer, Ovens, Pantry all a Plus. Certified in Food Safety and Sanitation a Plus.
