Job Overview We are looking for a passionate and skilled Saute Chef/Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and flair, ensuring every plate meets our high standards. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a lively kitchen environment that values teamwork and quality. Duties Prepare and cook sautéed dishes and other menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in food preparation, ensuring ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for service. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols. Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, and reporting shortages or issues. Collaborate with team members during busy shifts to ensure timely food production and service. Uphold food handling safety standards while managing multiple orders in a fast-paced setting. Contribute to menu planning by providing feedback on dish execution and suggesting improvements. Qualifications Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or catering environments. Familiarity with banquet experience, dietary accommodations, and food safety regulations. Strong skills in cooking techniques, food handling, and inventory management. Leadership qualities with supervisory experience or team management skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters teamwork. Knowledge of food industry standards including food service management, catering, and restaurant operations is a plus.
