Responsibilities Lead and manage the entire kitchen operation, including supervising staff, coordinating food production, and maintaining high standards of culinary excellence. Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while respecting traditional techniques, ensuring variety and quality for all dining options. Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and dietary department requirements to ensure compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory control, monitor food costs, and optimize food purchasing to maximize efficiency without compromising quality. Supervise banquet and catering services, ensuring flawless execution of large-scale events with attention to detail and guest satisfaction. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to foster a motivated team environment focused on continuous improvement. Coordinate shift management and ensure smooth daily operations across all food service areas. Requirements Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments. Proven supervising experience with demonstrated leadership in high-volume kitchens or hospitality settings. Knowledge of banquet operations, catering, and restaurant management practices. Familiarity with food industry standards including food handling, safety procedures, inventory management, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Strong skills in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management with an emphasis on quality control. Experience in dietary department operations and accommodating special dietary needs. Excellent team management abilities coupled with effective communication skills. Certifications related to food safety and hospitality are highly desirable.
