In this vibrant role, you will craft fresh, flavorful salads and delectable desserts that elevate our dining experience. Your expertise will inspire guests with beautifully presented dishes that showcase your culinary artistry and attention to detail. This position offers an exciting opportunity to bring your culinary talents to a dynamic environment where quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction are at the forefront. Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of salads, including cold dishes, and specialty greens, ensuring freshness and visual appeal Create a diverse selection of desserts, from fruit-based treats to pastry accompaniments, maintaining high standards of taste and presentation Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items that highlight seasonal ingredients and innovative flavor combinations Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards Assist in meal planning and portion control to optimize ingredient usage and minimize waste Maintain cleanliness of work stations, storage areas, and equipment in compliance with health regulations Support catering events by preparing salads and desserts that meet specific dietary needs or themed menus Qualifications Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles within healthcare or hospitality settings is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations within fine dining or restaurant environments Demonstrated skills in menu planning, food handling, knife techniques, and meal preparation Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards essential for maintaining a safe kitchen environment Experience in serving guests in fast-paced settings preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure Culinary experience with a focus on salads, desserts, or pastry arts is a plus Join us as a Salad & Dessert Chef and bring your culinary passion to life!
