Duties Plan, develop, and execute diverse banquet menus that meet client specifications and uphold quality standards. Supervise and coordinate all food preparation activities for banquets, ensuring efficiency and consistency across events. Lead, motivate, and manage the banquet kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and minimizing waste to ensure cost-effective operations. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee safe food handling practices. Collaborate with event planners and service staff to ensure seamless execution of catering services from setup to cleanup. Monitor kitchen operations during events, troubleshoot issues promptly, and ensure timely delivery of all banquet meals. Requirements Proven experience in banquet cooking, fine dining, or large-scale catering environments with a strong background in food production. Supervising or team management experience within a culinary setting is essential. Extensive knowledge of dietary requirements, food safety protocols, and inventory control procedures. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop kitchen staff effectively. Strong culinary skills with expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality industry standards, including catering and event service management. Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
