Duties Assist in preparing and baking a wide range of pastries, and desserts with precision and creativity. Support the decoration of cakes and pastries, ensuring visually appealing presentation that meets quality standards. Help with packaging finished products efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area. Participate in food production tasks, including measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling baked goods. Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards. Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure smooth daily operations. Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting catering or restaurant service when needed. Qualifications Previous experience in pastry arts or baking is highly preferred, with a strong foundation in food preparation techniques. Proficiency laminating, knife skills, and food handling procedures is essential for success in this role. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices is required. Experience working in a food industry setting such as a bakery, restaurant, or catering service is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and creativity to produce visually stunning desserts.
