$17/hour About the Role Do you take pride in a well-run kitchen and meals made with care? Iris Memory Care is looking for a Cook/Chef who loves what they do and understands that a good meal means everything to the people we serve. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position paying $17/hour. Schedule is Wednesday - Saturday. About Our Community We're a small, freestanding memory care assisted living community in NW OKC. All of our residents live with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. Smaller team, bigger impact — you'll truly know every face and every story. What You'll Do Working independently in our kitchen, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals that meet each resident's dietary needs. This is hands-on, meaningful work from start to finish. Prepare and serve meals following established dietary plans and menu cycles Perform dishes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area Note and follow any dietary changes or substitutions for individual residents Uphold safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations Coordinate with care staff to ensure residents' needs are consistently met What We're Looking For 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred Experience with special diets or food preparation in a healthcare setting a plus Ability to work independently and manage time well with minimal supervision Genuine care for older adults and the people who depend on you Reliable work history — consistency matters to our residents Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; 35 lbs regularly Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed Why Iris Memory Care?
