In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, lead food preparation efforts, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Your leadership will inspire the kitchen staff, coordinate with management on menu planning and inventory control, and elevate our dining experience to new heights. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional eager to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, fast casual dining environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service. Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to uphold quality standards. Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper handling of ingredients to maintain compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Lead catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely preparation and exceptional service delivery. Train team members on cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and customer service expectations. Collaborate with restaurant management on shift scheduling, workflow optimization, and maintaining a positive kitchen environment. Skills Extensive culinary experience with strong references Proven supervising experience in a high-volume kitchen setting. Knowledge of catering, and large-scale food production. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Expertise in inventory management, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices. Excellent food preparation skills including cooking techniques and menu execution. Familiarity with dietary requirements and managing special dietary needs within menu offerings. Experience in restaurant or hospitality environments with a focus on food service management. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as shift management, food handling, and catering coordination efficiently.
