Job Description

Sous Chef - Bos Taurus | Downtown Bend | SixTop Restaurant Group This is a demanding kitchen role with real ownership. You'll run production, hold the line to standard, and step up when the pass gets heavy. If you're looking to coast or you go sideways under pressure, this isn't the right fit. What You'll Do:
Manage and assist line and prep through all stages of service Own recipe production and consistency, station to station Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef on recipe development — classic French technique and modern methods Butcher, break down, and prep with precision; build mise en place to fine-dining standard Teach and develop the cooks around you
What We're Looking For:
2-3 years in a similar role or comparable environment Advanced, accurate knife skills Composed when it gets hard; sets the pace instead of chasing it Can teach and mentor, not just execute Strong communicator, team-first every shift
