Wednesday-Sunday between 4-6pm. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our well established local fine dining steakhouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting our Executive Chef with overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations; cost management, food ordering, kitchen organization, cooking, employee management and recipe development. Hours will be roughly 2pm to 10pm/11pm Responsibilities
  • Coordinate food preparation
  • Manage food production and maintain high standards of quality
  • Develop and update menu offerings in line with culinary trends and customer preferences
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or promotions Experience
  • Proven experience in hospitality, food management, kitchen management, and restaurant management
  • Strong background in food production and food service management
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage, be managed and motivate a team
