Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled according to food safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area Execute food preparation tasks efficiently during busy service hours to meet customer demand Follow all health regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Assist in training junior kitchen staff on sushi techniques, knife skills, and presentation standards Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine minimum 3 years. Strong knife skills with the ability to prepare fish, vegetables, and rice efficiently Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning and creating visually appealing sushi presentations Background in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments preferred Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and learning We value energetic professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional food experiences.
