Position Summary Rosa Blanca is looking for a dependable, motivated, and growth-minded Lead Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is designed for someone who wants to continue developing their skills and grow into a future leadership role within the company. At Rosa Blanca, we believe in building people up through consistency, accountability, teamwork, and hands-on experience. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, stays organized, and can help maintain strong execution during both prep and service. This role is not just about cooking. It is about learning leadership, helping support the team, and growing into greater responsibility over time. Responsibilities Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of stations Work efficiently during high-volume service Assist with prep, stocking, and cleaning duties Communicate clearly with kitchen team members and leadership Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times Maintain proper portions, consistency, and presentation Assist with opening and closing procedures Support teammates and maintain a positive work environment Help manage line flow and organization during service Assist with training and supporting newer cooks Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, and consistency Requirements Kitchen experience preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation and punctuality Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible availability required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Growth Opportunity This position is intended for individuals looking to grow within Rosa Blanca and the GIG Hospitality Group.
