  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team.

As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Executive Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection and delivered in a timely manner.   • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following all food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to specifications and served promptly.
  • Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing during peak hours. Requirements
  • Proven experience in food service management or as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Experience working within a dietary department is a plus.
  • Bartending skills are advantageous for menu development involving beverages.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills for team collaboration.
