Note:

This position may be filled at the Sous Chef level, with a corresponding pay rate, depending on the experience of the successful applicant. Brethren Village offers our Chefs an extra $1.00 per hour for weekend work, no late night work hours, and every other weekend and holiday off. Successful applicants will have at least 1 year of related professional experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant, hotel, healthcare facility, college, or similar setting, or successful completion of formal training through a culinary program. Our Line Chefs have the opportunity to work in our full service restaurant open to the public, a Bistro, and in our healthcare facility kitchen, under the guidance of an Executive Chef. Our Line Chefs also assist with large catered events and fine-dining functions. Line Chefs have the opportunity to propose new menu items, and create a variety of dishes using various techniques.

Work Schedule:

Applicants must be able to work every other Saturday, Sunday, and holiday, and during the week. Full-time, benefits-eligible, 40 hours per week: Morning and day to early evening hours. Work days and hours may vary and will include every other Saturday, Sunday, and holiday.
