Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Sous Chef to lead open our culinary and hospitality operations with energy, precision, and a passion for excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of food service management, ensuring exceptional dining experiences across fine dining, catering, and restaurant environments. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and elevate our culinary offerings to new heights. Duties Lead and supervise culinary teams, including kitchen staff, by fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to ensure consistency with quality standards and customer expectations Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency Help coordinate banquet events and catering services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service Enforce food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health department standards across all operations Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling, staffing levels, and operational flow to maximize productivity Implement training programs focused on culinary skills, customer service excellence, and safety protocols Experience Proven supervisory experience within the food industry, particularly in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings Banquet experience with a strong background in catering event management Demonstrated expertise in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety practices Hands-on experience in food handling, cooking techniques, and food service operations Prior restaurant management experience with a focus on hospitality excellence and operational efficiency
