For more than 11 years, Bluebird Distilling has been one of the region's top cocktail destinations, known for exceptional hospitality, award-winning cocktails, and a loyal following throughout the Philadelphia suburbs and Main Line. After a $2 million transformation, we're launching a focused, chef-driven kitchen centered around a Neo-Neapolitan pizza and bread program. Our kitchen is built around a state-of-the-art 3-deck Polin electric pizza oven, fresh dough and bread production, seasonal ingredients, and a tight, high-quality menu of pizzas, appetizers, salads, and entrées. We're looking for strong line cooks and pizza makers (pizzaiolos) who take pride in execution, move with urgency, and want to be part of building something from the ground up — backed by an already successful and established brand. The Role
  • Work directly with the Head Chef and Sous Chef during the launch of a brand-new kitchen
  • Execute a focused menu with consistency and attention to detail
  • Work stations including pizza, sauté, prep, garde manger, and oven production
  • Stretch, build, and execute Neo-Neapolitan pizzas at a high level
  • Work with premium ingredients including Petra Italian flour, fresh doughs, house-made breads, and carefully sourced products
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional kitchen at all times
  • Handle prep, service, stocking, and closing responsibilities with urgency and accountability
  • Contribute to a strong team culture built around standards, teamwork, and a family atmosphere Who You Are
  • Experienced line cook, pizza maker, or pizzaiolo with strong fundamentals and work ethic
  • Comfortable in fast-paced kitchens with high expectations
  • Dough, bread, pizza, or scratch kitchen experience is a major plus
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Takes pride in quality and consistency
