Chef at Sodexo, RDGs' WOs' & SGTs' Mess, Battlesbury Barracks.

Step into a unique and rewarding catering role within a Ministry of Defence (MOD) environment.

Working alongside military personnel, you'll prepare high-quality meals and support a variety of exciting functions.

What you'll do:

Assist with the preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a busy kitchen environmentMaintain exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring full compliance with EHO guidelinesWork closely with the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer servicePrepare and serve meals to military personnel, consistently delivering high standardsOversee kitchen cleanliness and ensure sanitation best practices are always followedSupport high-profile events and special functions, showcasing your culinary skillsTake part in bulk cooking while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentationWhat we're looking for:

Professional chef/cook experience within a catering or hospitality settingStrong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulationsAbility to perform well in a high-pressure, team-focused environmentA genuine passion for cooking and delivering excellent service

Desirable Skills:

Experience in military or government catering environmentsIOSH qualification or equivalentWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)What we offer:
