Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate the dining experience for our guests. Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and food handlers, to ensure smooth daily operations Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards in all menu items Manage inventory control and food stock levels to minimize waste while ensuring availability of ingredients for menu items Develop and update menus that reflect current culinary trends, seasonal ingredients, and customer preferences Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes Oversee kitchen cleanliness, sanitation practices, and equipment maintenance to meet health standards Manage shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and optimize workflow for efficiency and productivity Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance skills in food production, presentation, and customer service Collaborate with management on budget planning, cost control measures, and overall restaurant or hospitality operations Requirements Proven culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining settings or upscale hospitality environments Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in high-volume settings Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, dietary restrictions, and allergy management Experience with banquet service, catering operations, and large-scale food production is highly desirable Skilled in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen management techniques Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams effectively Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food industry trends including culinary innovation and presentation techniques Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience preferred Certifications in food safety (such as ServSafe) or relevant culinary qualifications are advantageous Join us as a Chef where your passion for cuisine meets your leadership talents!
