Our focus is on sourcing ingredients locally from farmers, butchers, and fishermen, all prepared with an approachable yet distinctly French twist. We also feature a curated wine list highlighting boutique French producers. Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team at our award winning luncheon location. In this role, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that align with our seasonal menu and standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, culinary expertise, and a love for fine dining to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Lead and manage the kitchen team, including supervising staff and fostering a collaborative environment. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish. Develop and refine menu offerings in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations across all kitchen activities. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness. Train staff on food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques to promote continuous improvement. Skills Extensive culinary experience. Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen setting. Knowledge of banquet service, catering, and restaurant management principles. Expertise in food production, menu planning, and food safety practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Experience with inventory management, cost control, and kitchen operations. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and front-of-house teams. Pay:
$64,400.04 - $77,557.03 per year
