Job Summary The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations for the Citizens Bank dining account in Johnston, RI. This role provides hands-on leadership for food production, menu development, catering, and daily dining services while ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction. The Executive Chef leads and develops the culinary team, manages financial performance, and supports company-wide culinary initiatives. Key Responsibilities- Oversee all culinary functions, including daily dining service and catering events.
- Plan, develop, and execute seasonal and innovative menus.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Manage, train, and supervise a team of culinary associates.
- Maintain all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
- Control food, labor, and operating costs while meeting budget expectations.
- Purchase product and manage inventory with strong cost controls.
- Roll out new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary leadership.
- Support client engagement, tastings, and special events as needed. Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Three to five years of culinary management experience.
- High-volume production and catering experience required.
- Proven experience managing food and labor cost controls.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Passion for quality food and desire to grow with a top-tier foodservice company.
