This role is designed for a seasoned fine-dining and steakhouse professional who brings command, consistency, and operational excellence to the kitchen every day. The restaurant is known for delivering exceptional guest experiences, industry-leading hospitality, and uncompromising culinary standards , earning consistent recognition as one of the premier dining destinations in its market. This is a performance-driven leadership role within a high-volume, refined dining environment. Candidates must be prepared to operate at a senior level from day one , contributing alongside a strong leadership team and upholding the highest expectations in execution and accountability. The Sous Chef serves as a core member of the culinary leadership team , working closely with senior kitchen leadership to maintain and elevate the restaurant's standards. This role requires a chef who understands the full scope of upscale steakhouse operations —from product integrity and execution to team leadership and operational systems. You are expected to operate with an Executive Chef mindset : making intentional decisions, leading with authority, and holding your team to consistently elite standards.

Key Responsibilities Lead back-of-house operations during service with precision, control, and urgency Execute and enforce standards without compromise Oversee steakhouse production, preparation, and execution Maintain exceptional consistency across high-volume services Coach and develop team members while holding them accountable with professionalism Uphold strict standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety Support operational discipline including mise en place, inventory, ordering, and labor awareness Step into full kitchen leadership confidently when needed Requirements Minimum 5+ years of culinary leadership experience in fine dining or upscale steakhouse environments Proven expertise in high-end steakhouse execution Experience performing at a high level in busy, high-pressure kitchens Ability to lead and influence experienced, professional culinary teams Strong communication skills with a calm, commanding presence on the line Highly disciplined, detail-oriented, and committed to consistency and excellence A leader who takes ownership and operates with accountability and pride in craftsmanship Seeking a long-term role within a high-performing, growth-oriented organization Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Paid Time Off 401(k) with company match (up to 4%) Dining privileges within a premier restaurant group Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Please submit a resume with references.
